art career?

Since most of my journal entries consist of some sort of a question... here's another one to add to the festivities...
Are any of you considering or planning to take on art as a career?
Or is it simply one of your past-times?

Reason i'm asking is because lately i've been considering taking 'animation art & design' at the art institute... well that or culinary or interior design... it's undecided at the moment... i've already had a phone interview with the AI... Now i just need to choose a field...
